How to install Butterfly Weft Extensions

01 Consultation & Color Matching

03 Measure & Trim the Weft

Measure the width of the section. Trim the Butterfly Weft to fit—its sealed edges prevent shedding.

04 Place the Weft & Anchor the Ends

Lay the weft along the parting and hold both sides with clips. Secure only one strand at the first and last hole with a bead. This keeps the weft flat and prevents shifting during installation.

05 Bead Installation Along the Track

Use a crochet hook to pull a small, stable amount of natural hair through each pre-punched hole. Pair the pulled hair with another strand from underneath, slide a microbead through, and clamp. Repeat across the row using evenly spaced beads for a balanced and secure hold. Pro Tip: Silicone-lined microbeads provide better grip and protect fine hair.

06 Final Blending & Comfort Check

Blend the natural hair with the Butterfly Weft using thinning scissors or heat styling. Run fingers along the weft to ensure it sits flat with no pressure points. A good installation feels secure but never tight.
